03-Incubator

about 03Incubator

Launched by TTi, in AlKarak-Jordan, 03incubator is a non-profit early-stage business incubator and community hub, that provides many services along with the cool co-working space, such as business model validation, business development training, and consultation, mentoring, business registration and ICT support services. This incubator is currently hosting 32 technology-based start-ups

Amani Al Bashabsha, 32 years old, a community activist and entrepreneur. She is a physics teacher who used physics in making Gamed.

Amani combined her scientific knowledge in physics with producing Gameed (which is a famous local material at Al Karak used in cooking Mansaf), by calculating the accurate percentage and the best method to make Gameed in order to reach the great taste of Gameed.

Since Al Karak is a tourism destination, Amani’s products were the favorite for the tourists as well as for the local community, and here is the beginning.

Amani established Bayt AL Gammed (House of Gameed) where she provides a tour for the tourists to explore the Karak castle then heading to Bayt Al Gameed to make mansaf live in front of the tourists, where they are engaged and participated in the making process as a unique experience of making local food and eat it, then buying from her products.

She faced management challenges to control and manage all the sides of businesses and how to sustain and scale-up it, then she joined the SheInnovate program where she received public and private sessions to develop her business and register it.

Amani was dedicated to the attendance to 03Incubator to get the maximum benefit from the training sessions, mentoring, and networking services.

She was honored to be visited by her majesty Queen Rania, where her majesty motivated and encouraged her to continue what she is doing by gifting her motel attached to the Bayt Al Gammed and recognize the location on the Jordanian tourism map.

She was so grateful for all the efforts that were made to support her from our side, and she is now working on her online portals to start promoting her products and the unique experience which the tourists will have.
