Aqaba Business Clinic and AEN Networking Reception Strengthen Local Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

TTi organized two complementary events in Aqaba on 24–25 January 2026 at Oryx Hotel, aimed at strengthening the local entrepreneurship ecosystem and expanding access to support services for startups and small businesses.

The events included 3rd edition of the Aqaba Business Clinic and the AEN Cocktails Networking Reception, bringing together entrepreneurs, SMEs, ecosystem experts, and representatives from entrepreneurship support organizations. Together, the two activities combined targeted technical support with ecosystem-level networking to promote a more connected and responsive entrepreneurial environment in Aqaba.

Business Clinic: 148 Advisory Sessions Supporting Entrepreneurs

The Aqaba Business Clinic provided entrepreneurs with direct access to expert guidance through structured one-to-one consultation sessions.

A total of 63 entrepreneurs and SME representatives participated in the clinic, receiving 148 tailored consultation sessions delivered by 10 senior entrepreneurship experts. The sessions focused on helping founders identify challenges, refine strategies, and strengthen the foundations of their businesses.

Rather than traditional workshops, the clinic emphasized personalized advisory support, allowing participants to address specific business challenges and receive practical insights directly from experienced advisors.

The consultations covered a wide range of topics essential for startup development and SME growth, including:

  • Product–market fit

  • Investment readiness and fundraising preparation

  • Financial management and financial planning

  • Legal aspects, contracts, and intellectual property

  • Business model innovation

  • Market expansion and business growth strategies

  • E-commerce and digital marketing

  • Brand development and digital identity

  • Eco-friendly packaging and green business practices

  • Artificial intelligence applications in business

These discussions enabled participants to gain clarity on their business priorities, identify blind spots, and define concrete next steps to strengthen their ventures.

AEN Networking Reception: Building Ecosystem Connections

Complementing the Business Clinic, the AEN Cocktails Networking Reception created an informal and engagement-driven platform for ecosystem actors to connect and exchange ideas.

The reception brought together 81 participants, including 55 entrepreneurs and SME representatives alongside 26 representatives from entrepreneurship support organizations.

Unlike traditional formal events, the networking reception encouraged open dialogue and authentic conversations among participants. Founders, experts, and ecosystem stakeholders shared experiences, explored collaboration opportunities, and discussed the realities of building and growing businesses in Aqaba.

The event also provided an opportunity to raise awareness about upcoming ecosystem programs planned for 2026, strengthening engagement between entrepreneurs and ecosystem support organizations.

Strengthening Aqaba’s Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

By combining targeted technical support with ecosystem-level networking, the two events contributed to improving access to expertise, strengthening collaboration between ecosystem actors, and fostering stronger connections within Aqaba’s entrepreneurial community.

Through activities like the Business Clinic and the AEN Networking Reception, TTi continues to support entrepreneurs with practical guidance, ecosystem connections, and opportunities that help businesses grow and scale while strengthening the broader entrepreneurship ecosystem in Aqaba.
