On June 1st, 2020, TTi organized a remote panel discussion on the impact of COVID-19 on SMEs in Jordan. The panel’s main objective was to discuss the short and long term impact of COVID-19 on SMEs from different perspectives, such as cash-flow, employability, changing customer behavior, business model adjustment, etc. The panel hosted many experts from national and international institutions with divisions for SMEs financing, such as Mr. Khaled Al-Saheb, the national program manager from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Mr. Mohamad Amairah, from the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ), Mr. Ali Abu-Kumail, the senior private sector specialist from the World Bank, and Mr. Hamzeh Al-Shamaileh, representing the EU as the JADE project manager. The panel was moderated by the managing director of Beyond Capital, Mr. Tamer Al-Salah.
