The “Green Business Incubator” aims to promote environmental protection and an eco-friendly lifestyle in Jordan by providing business support services for 20 entrepreneurs (Ecopreneurs), mainly youth and women in disadvantaged communities, to turn by-products into sustainable new products and revenue. The support services will include awareness, training, mentoring, and advisory for business, legal, financial and environmental issues related to the business needs of the beneficiaries, the project will also offer business incubation services (while no direct financial support will be provided).
The project (Funded by Polish Aid and the Polish Embassy) will be implemented between July and December 2022 and will give special focus on Upcycling as an innovative pathway to product commercialization for unavoidable waste. It is the practice of creating a usable product from waste or unwanted items or adapting an existing product in some way to add value.
