Throughout its 3-year run, JOinUP!, an EU-funded project implemented by Oxfam and TTi, is working on contributing to the increase of economic and social inclusion and job creation for women and disadvantaged / marginalized groups in Jordan through a diverse set of activities, including an online resource center for the Social Entrepreneurship Support Organization services eco-system in Jordan, capacity building, and sub-granting for 50 social enterprises, plus providing them with training and linkages opportunities with the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Jordan. In addition, monthly meetups are held in different parts of Jordan, and this month as part of the digitalization movement in the COVID-19 lockdown, JOinUp! team hosted the e-meetup, a virtual version of the traditional meetup, discussing the role of social enterprises and their support organizations in coping with the economic challenges arising from COVID-19.
