TTi organized a workshop on Investment Readiness and AI-Enabled Business Models in Aqaba on 1 November 2025, in collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The workshop brought together 33 SMEs and startups seeking to scale their businesses and strengthen their readiness for investment.
The session was designed to help entrepreneurs better understand what investors look for and how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance business competitiveness. By combining investment readiness with digital innovation, the workshop aimed to equip participants with practical tools to navigate today’s evolving business environment.
Strengthening Investment Readiness
A key component of the workshop focused on helping entrepreneurs understand the expectations of investors and the preparation required before seeking funding. Participants explored the fundamentals of investment readiness, including financial planning, refining business models, and strengthening investor pitching strategies.
The session also addressed common challenges startups face when approaching investors and highlighted ways businesses can better demonstrate growth potential and sustainability.
Integrating AI into Business Models
The workshop also introduced participants to practical applications of artificial intelligence in business operations. Entrepreneurs explored how AI tools can support everyday business activities such as improving marketing performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Through guided exercises and real-world examples, participants identified opportunities where AI solutions could strengthen their products, services, and internal processes.
Driving Sustainable Business Growth
By combining investment readiness with AI adoption, the workshop demonstrated how startups and SMEs can unlock new opportunities for growth and innovation. Integrating modern digital tools into business strategies can help entrepreneurs strengthen their market positioning and respond more effectively to changing economic conditions.
The Aqaba workshop represents part of TTi’s broader efforts to support entrepreneurs with practical knowledge, modern tools, and ecosystem connections that enable them to grow sustainably and access new investment opportunities.
TTi continues to work with startups, SMEs, and ecosystem partners across Jordan to deliver programs that strengthen entrepreneurial capacity, promote innovation, and support a more dynamic and competitive business environment.
