TTi successfully concluded the AI Upskilling Program, enabling 445 participants across Jordan to complete the “Elements of AI for Business” course and gain foundational knowledge in artificial intelligence and its practical applications.
The program was implemented as part of the Tech Pathways MENA project, led by Village Capital in collaboration with MinnaLearn and the University of Helsinki, Supported by Google.org. The project aims to expand access to AI literacy and digital skills across the MENA region while supporting youth and professionals in preparing for the future of work.
Expanding Access to AI Learning
The course followed a self-paced learning model, allowing participants to complete the training at their own pace while gaining practical insights into how artificial intelligence can be applied in business, entrepreneurship, and professional environments.
Participants explored key AI concepts and real-world use cases, learning how AI can support decision-making, improve productivity, and enable innovative solutions across industries.
Strong Participation and Engagement
The program attracted significant interest, with 2,073 registrations, 674 accepted participants, and 445 successful completions, reflecting strong engagement from learners interested in building AI-related skills.
In addition to the self-paced course, TTi organized 60 online sessions and several in-person workshops to support participants and strengthen their learning experience.
Building Partnerships to Reach Wider Communities
To expand outreach and reach underserved communities, TTi collaborated with universities, public institutions, and civil society organizations across Jordan. These partnerships helped engage students, youth, and professionals interested in building digital skills and exploring AI applications in their careers.
Embedding the program within university ecosystems also contributed to stronger participation and higher completion rates among students and graduates.
Looking Ahead
The successful completion of the program highlighted strong demand for more advanced and practical AI training opportunities. Building on the foundation established through the AI Upskilling Program, future projects aim to provide deeper, hands-on learning experiences that enable participants to apply AI tools directly in their professional and entrepreneurial activities.
Through programs like this, TTi continues to support digital skills development, AI literacy, and innovation, helping individuals and entrepreneurs adapt to rapidly evolving technological landscapes.
